All cricket grounds require machinery. Mowers, rollers, scarifiers, etc are vital pieces of equipment and require regular maintenance to obtain maximum performance. Unfortunately, it is inevitable for problems to occur - sometimes causing too much damage for a general DIY repair. For this reason we have decided to launch a new parts supply service for the 2009 season. Parts for numerous manufacturers are available including -
Blades, Batteries, Electrical parts, Spark plugs, Starter parts, Chains, Cables, Tyres, Gaskets, Seals, Paint, Grease nipples, Springs, Tyre sealant, Nycon Heads and Accessories, A vast range of fittings like Nuts, Bolts, Clips, Washers to name but a few.
Also available are many Service Parts such as Oils and Filters etc.
If you have identified the spare part you require, simply let us know the manufacturer, model and serial number of your equipment and we will be happy to give you a quotation for the part you require (if possible).
Do you have an old or obsolete machine and cannot source parts? This may not be as much of a problem as you think...
We have a large machine shop furnished with lathes, milling machines, grinders, slotters, drillers, etc and in the past have manufactured new parts working from patterns (customer supplied damaged or worn part). We have manufactured bearing housings, shafts, discs, flywheels, etc resulting in old "beyond repair" machines being brought back to working order. This can be very cost effective, saving potentially thousands of pounds by repairing machinery rather than invest in a new model.
If this service is of some interest to you, please contact us with details of your requirements or email us (possibly with a photograph of the part). Our staff will gladly discuss the options with you. If we can manufacture the part, it will normally be required for the customer to supply us with the damaged or worn part - either by visiting our machine shop or sending via post / courrier. Once the part has been manufactured we will contact the customer and arrange for pick up or delivery.
Please note due to our vast machine tool capacities, we are able to manufacture components ranging from 3mm to 750mm diameter on our turning section, a similar amount on our milling section and also a large range on our welding / fabrication section. In addition we also have spark eroding machines which can be used to "burn out" broken components such as studs in a cylinder head, etc.
Rather than presume your old machinery is irrepairable, it might be worth contacting us first...
